Mistral Raises $830 Million to Build NVIDIA Chip-Powered AI Center in Europe

On March 30, French AI startup Mistral AI announced it had secured $830 million in debt financing to build a data center on the outskirts of Paris. The funds will be used to purchase 13,800 GB300 chips from NVIDIA, with the data center expected to become operational in the second quarter of 2026. Mistral also plans to provide 200 megawatts of data center capacity across Europe by the end of 2027.
