On the 29th, the Artificial General Intelligence Forum at the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference took place in Beijing, marking the debut of the world's first artificial general intelligence system, "Tongtong" 3.0. At present, artificial intelligence is progressing towards a more generalized stage. "Tongtong" is already capable of grasping a cup and following instructions, yet it has not fully bridged the gap to "interact" with the real world—a milestone it is rapidly approaching. Leveraging the core technology of "Tongtong," the Tong Institute has developed the "Tong Brain," which transfers "Tongtong's" capabilities to physical robots, equipping them with a diverse range of skills. These robots are anticipated to become commonplace in households in the near future.
