Reuters reported that Microsoft submitted an amicus curiae brief to the Federal Court in San Francisco on Tuesday, supporting Anthropic's lawsuit and requesting the court to temporarily block the U.S. Department of Defense from designating Anthropic as a supply chain risk enterprise. Microsoft argued that the implementation of this designation should be suspended during the court proceedings to prevent losses to suppliers, as these companies would otherwise be forced to urgently adjust their service systems that rely on Anthropic's products.
