According to a research report from CITIC Securities, the demand for AI-specific specialty fabrics is poised for a significant uptick in 2026. Notably, the supply-demand imbalance for Low DK second-generation and Low CTE products is anticipated to widen to around 20%. As proactive restocking initiatives gain momentum, the price elasticity of specialty fabrics is expected to rise. Calculations reveal that specialty fabrics constitute a mere 0.1% of total server costs, rendering downstream industries relatively insensitive to price hikes. Projections indicate that by 2026, the price increases for Low DK second-generation and Low CTE products will surpass a 100% rise.
