Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, February 10 – On the 9th, a South Korean digital healthcare startup unveiled its latest innovation: a medical diagnosis and treatment platform that harnesses the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to prevent heart attacks. This cutting-edge platform seamlessly integrates real-time electrocardiogram (ECG) data from wearable devices, like smartwatches, enabling users to detect early warning signs of a heart attack from the comfort of their own homes. It can accurately identify 21 distinct types of arrhythmias and evaluate the probability of a cardiac arrest occurring within the next 24 hours. In the event that a potential risk is identified, the platform promptly dispatches alerts to the patient, their primary physician, and the nearest emergency response center. This groundbreaking platform was honored with an Innovation Award at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, USA, in January, recognizing its significant contribution to the field of digital healthcare.
