On February 9, the Seventh Session of the Seventh People's Congress of Shenzhen Municipality opened. Mayor Qin Weizhong stated in the government work report that Shenzhen will accelerate the construction of a global artificial intelligence pioneer city, aiming for over 10% growth in the added value of the AI industrial cluster by 2026. The city will establish innovative platforms such as the Guangming Laboratory, build the Shenzhen Hetao College, and concentrate efforts on tackling core technologies including algorithm theory, intelligent computing chips, and intelligent robots.
