Professor Wang Tianyao of Beihang University emphasized that AI has emerged as the cornerstone of technological advancements. Large AI models, soft-body technologies, and electronic sensing capabilities equip robots with comprehension, safety, and perception, respectively, allowing them to seamlessly adapt to diverse environments. Professor Wang envisions a future where robots will not only learn and execute tasks assigned by humans across industrial, commercial, and domestic spheres but also drive a continuous upward spiral in both technology and application. Looking ahead, robots are expected to autonomously undertake new tasks, efficiently manage large-scale production, flexibly adjust to dynamic demands for small-batch and multi-variety outputs, and even demonstrate potential in extreme scenarios such as disaster relief operations.
