On February 7, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government hosted a themed press conference. During the event, Tang Wenkang, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, highlighted that Shanghai has achieved remarkable advancements in the realm of embodied AI. Specifically, close to 40 humanoid robots have transitioned from laboratory settings to everyday life, bolstering the real economy. Furthermore, over one-third of overseas returnees have opted to launch startups or pursue job opportunities in Shanghai. To offer even greater support to young entrepreneurs, Shanghai is committed to providing streamlined services, constructing an internationally accessible open-source AI community, and launching an AI Youth Entrepreneurship Fund.
