On February 7, a groundbreaking achievement was announced as the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, under the auspices of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, collaborated with China University of Petroleum (East China) to unveil the "Flying Fish-1.0" model. This innovative model stands as the globe's inaugural intelligent two-way ocean-atmosphere coupling system, meticulously crafted for the South China Sea area. It excels in deciphering the intricate patterns of marine and atmospheric environmental shifts within the region, thereby furnishing robust simulation and predictive tools specifically tailored for typhoon forecasting. Furthermore, it facilitates the creation of dynamic marine knowledge graphs.
