Recently, the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang Province has publicly sought feedback on the "Draft for Comments on Zhejiang Province's 15th Five-Year Plan for Digital Economy and Digital Infrastructure". During the implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan", Zhejiang's digital economy has achieved notable successes. However, challenges persist, including inadequate strategic planning in emerging sectors of the digital industry and limited capabilities in digital technology innovation. The draft plan outlines an ambitious vision: by 2030, Zhejiang aims to elevate its digital economy to world-leading standards, establishing itself as a hub for "three highlands and three centers". To realize this vision, the "15th Five-Year Plan" period will focus on driving innovative development and comprehensive empowerment of artificial intelligence. This will involve unleashing the potential of digital technology innovation and data-driven growth, fostering synergistic development between digital industrialization and industrial digitization, exploring new avenues within the digital sector, and cultivating digital industry clusters with a value exceeding one trillion yuan. Additionally, there will be a concerted effort to bolster infrastructure in key areas such as artificial intelligence and information transmission.
