He shared that his ambition is to substitute all the C and C++ code within Microsoft's codebase with a blend of Rust language and AI support by 2030. This announcement quickly drew a great deal of attention and sparked heated debate. Some users misinterpreted it, thinking that Microsoft was planning to employ Rust and AI to overhaul the Windows system.

Following this misunderstanding, the engineer promptly removed the post and offered clarification. He explained that the project was primarily research-focused, with the objective of developing cross-language migration technology. It was not, as some had assumed, a novel strategy for Windows 11. Microsoft's PR representatives also stepped in to dispel the rumors, emphasizing that the company has no intention of rewriting Windows 11 with the help of AI. Nevertheless, in this age of AI-driven programming, it's possible that Microsoft might leverage AI in the development of Win11.
