On December 17, 2025, the 2025 Xiaomi Human-Vehicle-Home Full Ecosystem Partner Conference took place at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. At this event, Luo Fuli, the leader of the Xiaomi MiMo large-scale model team, made her first-ever public appearance and delivered a speech entitled "Xiaomi MiMo: Xiaomi's Foundational Large Model."

Luo Fuli had already attracted considerable public attention owing to rumors that "Lei Jun had hired her with a multi-million-yuan annual salary." She holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Beijing Normal University and a master's degree in computational linguistics from Peking University. Prior to joining Xiaomi, she led the development of the multilingual pre-trained model VECO at Alibaba's DAMO Academy and played a key role in promoting the open-sourcing of the AliceMind project. Subsequently, she joined DeepSeek, where she was involved in the development of models like DeepSeek-V2.

During her appearance at the conference, Luo Fuli announced that she had become a part of Xiaomi and was wholeheartedly dedicated to forging an intelligent future that seamlessly connects language and the physical realm, with the unwavering pursuit of achieving Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
