The Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China has unveiled recommendations for drafting the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development in Liaoning Province. The plan advocates for rallying the entire province to cultivate the core artificial intelligence (AI) sector, hasten innovation in industrial software, advance the intelligent transformation of all industrial elements, and construct an AI industry ecosystem that integrates computing power, algorithms, data, and applications. Furthermore, the plan aims to strengthen collaboration with leading national AI research institutions to collectively drive the progress of general AI and generative AI, as well as to bolster the research, development, and dissemination of intelligent hardware, including smart vehicles, smart wearable gadgets, smart home products, and embodied intelligent robots.
