As reported by Business Insider, during last Thursday's company-wide meeting, NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, expressed a clear desire for employees to leverage AI tools to the fullest extent possible. He underscored that there should be no apprehension regarding job losses due to AI adoption. Huang remarked that it would be "absurd" for managers to instruct their teams to curtail the use of AI and assured that "any task susceptible to automation should be entrusted to AI." He disclosed that, in contrast to the layoffs witnessed at other tech firms, NVIDIA recruited thousands of individuals in the previous quarter and is currently experiencing a staffing shortage of approximately 10,000 positions. The company intends to maintain its hiring momentum in alignment with the rate of team assimilation.

Furthermore, tech behemoths such as Microsoft and Meta are also advocating for the routine integration of AI among their workforce. Google has mandated that engineers employ AI during programming, while Amazon is deliberating the incorporation of the AI programming assistant, Cursor—a tool already utilized by NVIDIA's software engineers.

Huang additionally advised employees to persist in using AI until it aligns seamlessly with their tasks and to actively engage in refining the technology, emphasizing that "the company possesses the capacity to do so."
