On November 20, Bloomberg published a report stating that following the launch of Alibaba Group's 'Qianwen' application in the Chinese market, the company is now confronting a fresh wave of scrutiny emanating from Washington. Nevertheless, Bloomberg opined that should the U.S. endeavor to restrain Alibaba via restrictive actions, such a move would not only prove futile but could potentially escalate international economic and trade frictions.

Alibaba's Qianwen application, which is built upon the globally pioneering open-source model Qwen3, boasts not only conversational abilities but also the capacity to swiftly generate research reports or create PowerPoint presentations in a matter of seconds. At present, the application is being offered to users free of charge and might represent a latent threat to Silicon Valley's OpenAI.

Despite the pressure of scrutiny, Alibaba's technological prowess and market performance continue to be robust. Its open-source model series has been widely embraced by developers across the globe.
