Deutsche Telekom and NVIDIA Join Forces, Invest €1 Billion to Forge an Industrial AI Cloud Platform

On Tuesday, Deutsche Telekom made a public announcement that it is teaming up with NVIDIA. The two companies are set to jointly invest a staggering €1 billion (roughly equivalent to $1.17 billion) in the construction of an artificial intelligence data center. This ambitious project is anticipated to go live and start operations in the first quarter of 2026. Once completed, the data center will be equipped with around 10,000 GPUs. The overarching goal is to significantly bolster Europe's AI computing capabilities and, in turn, propel the development and application of industrial AI across the continent.
