Baichuan Energy has made an announcement stating that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Baichuan Enterprise Management, intends to invest a cumulative sum of 215 million yuan. This investment will be made through a combination of equity transfer and capital increase, with the aim of acquiring a 22.86% stake in Xi'an Zhongke Optoelectronics Precision Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Xi'an Zhongke Optoelectronics'). Upon the completion of this transaction, Baichuan Energy's ownership in Xi'an Zhongke Optoelectronics will rise to 25.20%.
Xi'an Zhongke Optoelectronics stands as a high-tech enterprise, dedicated to the research, development, and production of foundational models for embodied intelligence as well as embodied intelligence robots. However, it's worth noting that the company has not yet attained profitability. This investment marks Baichuan Energy's foray into a new business domain and entails management and operational risks typically associated with cross-border investments.
