These orders predominantly come from manufacturing firms, and the robots are mainly slated for use in the industrial sector. Humanoid robots have now started to take on roles in factory settings. However, their performance capabilities within such environments and the progress of their commercialization continue to be focal points of interest. It has been reported that the primary objective behind humanoid robots “entering factories” is to gather real-world scenario data. This data is crucial for driving technological iteration and upgrades. Industry experts have noted that, at present, the majority of orders for humanoid robots are intended for “pilot validation” purposes. These orders have not yet reached the stage where they can be considered “commercially cost-effective.”
