On Thursday, the South Korean government revealed that Vena Group—a prominent renewable energy developer operating across the Asia-Pacific region—has earmarked a staggering 20 trillion won (equivalent to roughly $14 billion) for investment in South Korean projects. These ambitious undertakings will span a diverse array of renewable energy sources, including solar and wind power, alongside cutting-edge battery energy storage systems. Additionally, the plans encompass the construction of a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) data center.

Vena Group has formally submitted a letter of intent outlining its investment intentions. Among the projects detailed in this letter are two offshore wind power ventures, boasting capacities of 500 megawatts and 384 megawatts, respectively. These initiatives underscore Vena Group's commitment to driving forward South Korea's renewable energy sector and contributing to the nation's sustainable development goals.
