On September 25, Baidu's Steam Engine, recognized as the world's inaugural Chinese audio-video integrated video generation model, underwent a significant upgrade. It has now introduced a groundbreaking universal AI function capable of generating long videos. This innovative feature empowers users to create AI-generated videos of virtually unlimited length, overcoming the previous constraints of AI video generation. Prior to this, AI-generated videos were typically confined to brief clips of 5 or 10 seconds, or relied on manipulating the first and last frames to extend the duration. By harnessing streaming generation technology, Baidu's Steam Engine has, for the first time, achieved the capability to generate universal long videos without any inherent length restrictions.
