On September 23, 2025, during the 2025 AI Industry and Empowering New-Type Industrialization Conference, Wang Aihua, the Deputy Chief Engineer of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), unveiled the assessment results regarding the scale of China's AI industry. According to the data, in 2024, the scale of China's AI industry soared past 900 billion yuan, signifying a robust 24% increase compared to the previous year. As of September 2025, China boasts over 5,300 AI enterprises, making up 15% of the global total. Moreover, the country has established a comprehensive industrial ecosystem that encompasses basic infrastructure, model frameworks, and diverse industry applications.
