On September 17, at the 2025 World Energy Storage Conference, Du Xinfeng, the Deputy General Manager of Unitree Technology, stated that having robots enter factories to perform complex, arduous, and repetitive tasks is a challenge that must be overcome in the future. Currently, robots are primarily applied in fields such as energy, transportation, firefighting, emergency response, and lifestyle entertainment. He mentioned that after making an appearance on the Spring Festival Gala, robots have garnered widespread attention and are now extensively used in cultural and entertainment performances. Meanwhile, they have also found applications in industrial inspection, power grid operations, and energy storage operations.
