On September 11, 2025, the State Administration for Market Regulation (CNCA) hosted the National Inspection and Testing Institution Open Day event. The primary venue was established in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, while 17 provincial (autonomous regional, municipal) venues acted as satellite locations. These main and satellite venues were interconnected via video links. Shu Wei, the Deputy Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, graced the main venue with his presence and delivered an insightful speech. He emphasized that, in light of the fresh opportunities and challenges presented by the artificial intelligence era, inspection and testing institutions ought to actively engage in the construction of an AI inspection and testing innovation hub. Additionally, he stressed the importance of developing an intelligent testing standard framework, nurturing cross-industry collaborative innovation ecosystems, leveraging intelligent testing to drive high-quality economic and social progress, and providing comprehensive support for the establishment of a quality-centric powerhouse and a digitally advanced China.
