The Shanghai Administration for Market Regulation has unveiled the "Several Measures to Foster the Innovative Growth of the Advertising Industry Powered by Artificial Intelligence in Shanghai." This initiative aims to foster the ecological clustering of the 'AI + digital advertising' landscape. It supports Xuhui and Putuo districts in nurturing a conducive ecosystem and establishing industrial innovation service platforms. Financial aid will be available, covering up to 50% of the confirmed total investment, with the maximum support capped at 20 million yuan. Districts are urged to develop advantageous segments within the industrial chain, with eligible districts receiving support amounts not exceeding 10 million yuan under certain conditions. Furthermore, an AI Advertising Ecosystem Alliance will be formed to bolster pertinent research and coordinate industrial matching events.
