The National Development and Reform Commission, in collaboration with the National Energy Administration, has jointly unveiled the Implementation Guidelines for Advancing High-Quality Development in the 'AI Plus' Energy Domain. Centered around data, computational power, and algorithms, these guidelines lay down a fundamental support framework for integrating artificial intelligence within the energy industry. They outline three pivotal technological advancement paths:
- Firstly, they emphasize the fortification of the data infrastructure by expediting the creation of superior-quality energy datasets and ensuring comprehensive data security from end to end.
- Secondly, they advocate for the augmentation of computational power by orchestrating resource allocation and fostering a seamless fusion of computational capabilities with electricity, thereby facilitating the concurrent growth of computing and power sectors.
- Thirdly, they strive to elevate model proficiency by encouraging a profound amalgamation of artificial intelligence with energy software and surmounting obstacles in green and low-carbon technological innovations.
