Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China released a catalog of vehicles eligible for purchase tax exemptions, prominently featuring the Tesla Model Y Long Wheelbase (L). This variant of the Model Y is a three-row, six-seater configuration, distinguished by its extended wheelbase and corresponding enhancements in battery technology and driving range. According to the ministry's data, the Model Y L boasts a battery pack capacity of 82kWh, enabling an impressive range of 751 kilometers, positioning it as the Model Y with the longest range ever recorded. Notably, the overall curb weight of this model has increased to 2088 kilograms.
