On August 6, Zotye Auto disclosed on an investor interaction platform that the domestic fuel vehicle qualification certificates for its two subsidiaries, Jiangnan and Zotye, have been temporarily suspended. Importantly, the qualification certificates for the new energy models produced by these two companies remain fully valid, ensuring that domestic sales and exports of pure electric and extended-range models will not be affected. This move follows Zotye Auto's proactive decision to apply for a one-year suspension of the mandatory product certification for these two subsidiaries, effective August 2024, citing factors such as market order considerations.
