On August 4, the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) released an estimate stating that nationwide wholesale sales of new energy passenger vehicles amounted to 1.18 million units in July, marking a 25% increase from the same period last year despite a slight 4% decrease from the previous month. For the first seven months of 2023, cumulative wholesale sales reached 7.63 million units, reflecting a robust 35% year-on-year growth.
