On Monday, Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast officially entered the world's third-largest automotive market by launching its first manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, southern India. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, announced during the plant's inauguration ceremony that the company intends to introduce its vehicles to Indian showrooms later this month. With an estimated annual production capacity of 150,000 units, this plant represents a pivotal milestone in VinFast's strategic expansion into the Asian market.
