On August 1, a jury in Florida, USA, determined that Tesla is liable for a fatal car accident involving a Model S's Autopilot system in 2019. Consequently, Tesla was ordered to compensate the victim's family and the injured parties with approximately $243 million, comprising $129 million in compensatory damages and $114 million in punitive damages.
