Lantu Auto has recently finalized the acquisition of the Wuhan Yunfeng Plant for a sum of 723 million yuan. This facility, formerly known as the Dongfeng Nissan Wuhan Plant, boasts an annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles, with the potential to expand to 300,000 vehicles. Equipped with five core processes, including stamping and welding, the plant is also capable of flexible production of both pure electric and hybrid models.
In September 2024, the first batch of Lantu Zhiyin models rolled off the assembly line at this plant. Additionally, the Lantu Free+ has emerged as the brand's second best-selling model, amassing over 20,000 orders since its launch. This strategic acquisition is poised to significantly enhance Lantu Auto's production capacity, ensuring it meets the growing demands of the market.
