Dongchedi responded, clarifying that the program's objective is to educate the public about the safety limits of autopilot systems and enhance awareness of safe driving practices, emphasizing that no official rankings have been established. The test reportedly encompasses 36 models, with a focus on simulating high-speed accident scenarios, where Tesla's Model 3 and Model X emerged at the top with a perfect 100% pass rate. Musk further emphasized that due to China's stringent cross-border data regulations, Tesla is unable to leverage local data for algorithm optimization and is instead enhancing technical performance through alternative means.
