Recent online rumors suggested a potential out-of-control incident involving a BYD Han vehicle in the parking lot of Chengdu Tianfu Airport. These rumors alleged that the vehicle displayed erratic behavior, spinning continuously within the lot. In response, BYD's News Anti-Fraud Office issued a statement, affirming that the vehicle's braking system is fully functional and that the incident was solely due to the driver's impetuous manual handling, with no connection to the vehicle's performance. The vehicle came to a safe stop on its own, without causing any collisions or injuries. The Sichuan Airport Police have also released a report, confirming the situation and ruling out drunk or drugged driving on the part of the driver. BYD emphasized that it has gathered evidence related to the online rumors and will take appropriate action against those responsible.
