On July 24, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) released data indicating that new car sales in June declined by 5.1% to 1.24 million units, marking the sharpest drop in a 10-month period. This decline is attributed to the slowdown in the growth of electric vehicle demand. Despite the continued expansion in demand for battery electric vehicles, the growth rate has dipped to its lowest point of the year. The ACEA cautioned that consumers remain cautious and emphasized the need for more robust demand stimulus measures to accelerate the transformation of the electric vehicle market.
