Tesla, the pioneering electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer headed by Elon Musk, has recently disclosed its steepest quarterly sales decline in over a decade. Figures indicate that during the second quarter, Tesla delivered approximately 384,000 vehicles, marking a 13.5% drop compared to the corresponding period last year.
On Wednesday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk commented that, owing to decreased government support for EV manufacturers in the United States, the company may encounter "several tough quarters" before witnessing substantial revenue growth from autonomous driving software and services by the end of next year.
