On July 17, 2025, WeRide, a pioneering autonomous driving technology company, unveiled the full-scale autonomous operation of its self-driving minibus, Robobus, at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) in Singapore. This marks a significant milestone as WeRide becomes the first to deploy autonomous vehicles without safety officers in Southeast Asia. Since its inception in June 2024, the minibus has safely conveyed tens of thousands of passengers and successfully completed numerous autonomous shuttle services at RWS.
