On July 16, the China Passenger Car Association unveiled data indicating that between July 1 and 13, 332,000 new energy passenger vehicles were sold in the national retail market, marking a 26% increase year-on-year and a 4% decrease month-on-month. The retail penetration rate stood at 58.1%. Since the start of the year, cumulative retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles have totaled 5.801 million units, reflecting a 33% year-on-year growth. During the same period, manufacturers nationwide wholesaled 316,000 new energy passenger vehicles, up 37% year-on-year and 1% month-on-month, with a wholesale penetration rate of 56.9%. Cumulatively, since the beginning of the year, new energy passenger vehicle wholesale volume has reached 6.763 million units, a 37% year-on-year increase.
