Mercedes-Benz has revealed its official test vehicle for the VLE, a groundbreaking model built on the innovative VAN.EA platform. Designed to seat eight passengers and drawing inspiration from the Vision V concept car, the VLE is poised to enter production in China by 2026. The vehicle boasts a prominent large-sized grille, LED headlights, sleek body lines, sliding doors, and concealed door handles. Its powertrain architecture comprises a front electric module, a central battery module, and a rear module, offering both four-wheel drive and front-wheel drive configurations. As Mercedes-Benz's first dedicated pure electric MPV tailored for the Chinese market, the VLE is set to compete with existing electric MPVs and is anticipated to secure a prominent position in the high-end segment.
