Polestar has officially announced that its eagerly anticipated SUV model, the Polestar 7, will commence production in 2028 at Volvo's state-of-the-art factory currently under construction in Slovakia. This milestone signifies the Polestar 7 as the brand's inaugural model to be locally manufactured in Europe. A memorandum of understanding has been inked between the two companies, underscoring Polestar's strategic objective to broaden its global contract manufacturing network and fortify its foothold in the European market. Currently, all Polestar models are produced by Volvo and Geely in China, the United States, with South Korea soon to join the list. Tailored specifically for the European market, the Polestar 7 is poised to be a cornerstone model, driving sales growth and reinforcing Polestar's brand identity.
