Honda announced on June 30 that it would revise the plans for its next-generation fuel cell module factory, which was originally scheduled to commence production in March 2028. Due to shifts in the global hydrogen market landscape, Honda has decided to scale down the initial production capacity of the factory and delay its full-scale operations. The factory, originally intended to utilize a portion of Honda's powertrain plant's land and buildings, was anticipated to boast an annual production capacity of 30,000 units.
