General Motors (GM) is initiating a recall of 62,468 Chevrolet Silverado models manufactured between 2019 and 2024 in the United States. The recall is due to a potential electrical short circuit within the brake pressure switch, which could pose a risk of fire while the vehicle is either in motion or parked. GM will promptly notify affected owners and arrange for free repairs to be carried out.
