During a post-conference interview on June 26, Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi Group, revealed that the Xuanjie chip has exceeded expectations and that the company is contemplating the integration of the second-generation Xuanjie chip into the automotive sector. He elaborated that the development of in-house chips necessitates a research and development cycle spanning three to four years, with the first generation primarily serving as a technical validation phase, hence the limited pre-order quantity. Furthermore, Lei Jun announced that Xiaomi is committed to fully developing its own four-in-one domain controller, establishing a solid foundation for the deployment of self-developed chips in automobiles.
