Tesla's self-driving taxi service, Model Y Robotaxi, officially launched a pilot program in Austin on Sunday. This announcement propelled Tesla's stock price, which surged intraday by as much as 11% on Monday, ultimately closing at $348.68 per share, up 8.23%. The pilot service is an exclusive, invitation-only initiative, with an initial fleet of approximately 10 vehicles, all adapted from the Model Y model.
