The safety standard demonstration line for the Shanghai-Kunming High-Speed Railway's Hangzhou East to Changsha South section (Hangzhou-Changsha section) has successfully completed its construction and connection tests. During these tests, the Fuxing high-speed train attained a maximum speed of 385 km/h, showcasing remarkable equipment performance. Following acceptance and evaluation, the Fuxing high-speed trains on this section will regularly operate at a speed of 350 km/h. Spanning 924 kilometers, the Hangzhou-Changsha section links the Yangtze River Delta with mid-western urban agglomerations. This speed increase will significantly enhance connectivity along the route and propel regional economic development.
