Chen Shihua, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, revealed that China's automobile production and sales volume surged by over 10% in the first five months of this year. The domestic market has witnessed a notable improvement, fueled by policy incentives, while vehicle exports have sustained steady growth, showcasing remarkable resilience. Furthermore, new energy vehicles (NEVs) have continued their rapid expansion, with domestic sales of NEV passenger vehicles surpassing 50% and NEV commercial vehicle sales exceeding 20% of the total market during this period.
