The Japanese automotive components manufacturer Magneti Marelli has initiated Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection proceedings in the United States to streamline its corporate restructuring. The company has secured a new financing agreement of $1.1 billion from its creditors, with approximately 80% of them expressing support for the restructuring plan. Magneti Marelli underscores that the bankruptcy proceedings will have no impact on its ongoing operations, and all secured debts will be fully addressed and discharged.
