According to the latest data released by the China Passenger Car Association, domestic retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles hit 1.021 million units in May, marking a robust 28.2% year-on-year increase. Exports also saw a significant uptick, reaching 200,000 units, representing an 80.9% surge year-on-year and a 5.8% increase month-on-month. From January to May, cumulative exports totaled 789,000 units, up 37.1% compared to the same period last year.
