At the 2025 Chongqing Auto Show, NIO hosted a press conference where Qin Lihong, co-founder and president of the company, shared significant milestones. As of June 7, NIO has constructed 3,359 battery swap stations and 26,498 charging piles, facilitating over 76.06 million battery swaps and 63.29 million charging sessions. Qin proudly announced that NIO Energy has achieved county-level battery swap coverage in Chongqing, with 75 stations established across 38 districts and counties. Nationwide, NIO has now attained county-level battery swap coverage in eight provincial-level regions.
