The 2025 China Auto Chongqing Forum, themed "Shaping the Future of the Industry in an Era of Change," will take place on June 6-7. At the opening ceremony, Wang Xia, President of the Automotive Industry Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, delivered a keynote address. He highlighted that the auto industry is grappling with the challenge of involution, marked by escalating price wars. However, he stressed that mergers and integrations are crucial strategies to tackle this issue. Wang emphasized that companies must uphold the three fundamental principles of quality, integrity, and long-termism. Additionally, he underscored that technological innovation and independent, controllable development are the cornerstones for achieving high-quality growth within the industry.
