On May 29, Li Xiang, the Chairman and CEO of Li Auto, disclosed that the company's preparations for the rollout of its latest pure electric SUV are well underway. Specifically, the Ideal i8 will be officially launched in July, followed by the Ideal i6 in September. Positioned as a spacious five-seat pure electric SUV, the Ideal i6, marking Li Auto's second pure electric vehicle model, is set to become the company's most accessible option in the segment and will carry the mandate of driving sales growth for its pure electric line-up. The i-series, alongside the L-series and MEGA-series, collectively constitute Li Auto's cutting-edge model portfolio.
